Download Inception (2010) for FREE - Download Movies for FREE

Leonardo really shines in this movie and one of the biggets movie to date. Inception is really hard to understand, and even in the end. You are still guessing if Leo's character is still dreaming or not.

This is one of the best movies I've seen in years. The story, the characters, the special effects, the stunts, the twists; everything is perfectly planned and executed in a way that makes you really think and will keep you dreaming about it for weeks after you see it. There's not one thing I didn't love about this movie.

Surrealism can appear to be ineffably bizarre, or inquisitively titillating, depending purely on the viewer's intellect. Though the realm of surrealism is highly nebulous and complex, but even a slight attempt at improvisation can sometimes go awry and open a Pandora's Box, making the task highly improbable and nigh impossible. This facet of reality may pose a handicap to the most gifted of the directors, but not to the genius of Christopher Nolan, who not only dabbles with the concept of surrealism, but also ingeniously blends it with the elements of Science Fiction in his latest wonder named Inception. Nolan created a niche for himself a decade back by unleashing a monster of a movie called Memento. He further substantiated his status by conjuring movies like Insomnia, The Prestige, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. His unremitting desire for innovation and uncanny craving to foray into the unexplored realms of imagination deservedly earned him an auteur tag, which gave him the carte blanche that a story-teller like Nolan desperately needs. It's highly apparent that Nolan takes every possible advantage of this liberty while filming Inception. Inception is not only dreamlike, but is a dream in itself and is superior to any other thing conceived on the silver screen. With its entwined layers, the movie for the most part serves as an unfathomable riddle and makes multiple viewing extremely essential. It incredibly does extremely well on both the humanistic as well as the technical fronts. In fact, the balance between human emotions and the elements of Science Fiction is so adequate that it's impossible to separate them.

The movie is about a futuristic world where the human mind can be intercepted through dream invasion. Cobb is an expert in the art of extracting information (stealing valuable secrets) from deep within the subconscious in the dream state. His proficiency in extraction is marred by a turmoil that begins with his wife's untimely death. He is forced to live the life of a fugitive away from his children. His only chance for redemption lies with a Japanese tycoon named Saitu, who wants him to do an inception (planting information into someone's mind). In order to accomplish this unprecedented task, Cobb and his team must overcome a labyrinth of unforeseeable challenges, where even a slight miss could trap them in a perpetual limbo. Any further revelation would be remissness on my part as the plot is filled with such intricacies that even expatiation would be incapable of justifying its profundity.

Leonardo Dicaprio gives a solid performance in the lead role, following his memorable performance in Shutter Island. He has brilliantly depicted the complexities and limitations of Cobb's enigmatic character highlighting his pain and mental trauma. Marion Cotillard is ravishingly scintillating as Cobb's whimsical wife, Mal. The rest of the cast has given a thorough performance with special mention of Ken Watanabe, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Inception is incredibly brilliant as a movie and is a breakthrough in contemporary cinema. Nolan's creativity and his unparalleled execution definitely make it an object of great cachet, but whether it would become Buntilde;uel's 'Un chien andalou' or Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' and serve as a prototype for the movies to come is for the time to decide. Irrespectively, Inception is sine qua non not only for an aficionado, but also for the average viewer, who is willing to delve deep enough to savour the delight.

PS: One has to imagine it to believe it. 9/10

'Inception' is one of the most entertainingly clever movies in a long time. DiCaprio and the cast provide uniformly solid performances, not easy given the labyrinthine plot they serve. It is wonderous to look at for the art design and the visual effects. A marvelous film!

Oh my, we did not expect such a cool story line. There was a bit of cheese for the simple minded folks, but everything fit together so well that it keeps you thinking about it for days after seeing it. You may enjoy this more at home where you can pause or use subtitles because of the scope of the story line is ever changing. I always thought Dicaprio was one of those actors you love to hate or hate to love but he is always brilliant in everything he does and this movie will not let you down.If you didnt like it, you may be too simple to understand the whole concept and story. Just a warning, If you did not take an SAT or scored below an 800 or if you feel like watching cars go around in a circle all day, is entertainment, you probably will not like it. Stick to American Idol, your feeble brain will handle it better.

I no what the elevator they were in, its a dover. Most dangerous elevators in usa.

This Movie like most, if not all humans is different, misleading, compelling and a mystery. I think to really grasp the concept of 'inception' you have to mentally be in a certain stage in your life, where you understand that there are many different views in the world. and before you either fall for them or dismiss them, you question every single ideas that is represented to you...generally speaking.

for the success of this well choreographed film I commend the director for his witty ability to get his audience to rethink what they've known their whole lives. whilst doing this he gets us to question and investigate his perceived idea that planting a concept in your head when your asleep can affect your actions/decisions when you wake. although this movie is clearly fiction, we are lured into a false sense of security where the director familiarises us with everyday things we unawareingly experience. imagine yourself sleeping on a chair; if someone knocks the chair over and you begin to fall, you wake subconsciously. all the same when you dream about falling off a cliff -lets say- you do wake up or at least jerk, oblivious to the fact hat your in safety of your bed. Nolan uses these ideas to draw us in and we are enabled to relate to them, this gets us thinking that the undo-able maybe is doable.

'Inception' unlike most movies didn't have an essence of a beginning, middle or an end, just a series of events. in most movies the director begins by introducing us to the scenario of the story. He/ She then takes us on a journey where we are completely in sync with the main character and we feel what he feels and we see the storyline's high and low points. where as in 'Inception' Nolan leaves us, I think he does this intentionally; he wants us to comprehend the meaning of the film in our own personal ways. He doesn't want just one storyline he wants as many storyline as there are people watching the film

Altogether, 'Inception' is extremely unique and unlike any other film, on screens. personally I think its the beginning of an exciting era, where more material like this will be produced. I really do recommend this film to people; its a new and innovative take on one man's search for happiness. this movie has it all. A light starter of diverse relationships, a wholesome helping of intensity, a pinch of comedy, with a generous topping of action, finished with beautiful graphics. I'd say its the best destination for a first date.

My husband and I saw this movie (long stretch of the word) last night in the German language. (We live in Germany). At the end of the movie we found out that each of us wanted to leave after the first 20 minutes.

We go to the movies to be entertained. This was not entertainment. Anything but.

Don't waste your money. Poor performances from all involved except for the kids at the end when we finally get to see their faces and the Dradle that keeps on spinning.

It seems to me that people who belive this film to be a 'Mind F*ck' are simply not used to creative films and people who claim the film is overly simple a claim 'Oh that film was ssooooo easy to understand' are just out to make themselves seem intelegent and are simply cocky cocks.

The films itself tries things never seen before on film, although the ideas presented are most likley explored in sci-fi novels, to the film going audience the film is unique and perhaps even mind blowing.

The only major confusio comes at the end where you must retrace your steps and question everything that has happend, before that the story line is fairly easy to grasp.

My wife and I both agreed to walk out of this one about 3/4 of the way through. I like action movies, but if you think about it, this action doesn't really exist. Of course, all movies are filmed, scripted, so they are not real either, but this one is not real on any level. Also, very hard to follow. Excellent effort, but not worth seeing, except perhaps for the unique idea behind it, which is somewhat clever.

Enjoyed this movie, was confusing at times, what was real and what was a dream, but that was what was entertaining about as it made you think. Would definitely recommend this movie.

Very well thought out and well imagined, it had the deepest plot since The Matrix. It went overboard with special effects, but it didn't matter with the amount of plot. I really had to think while I was watching it, but the fascinating idea of it kept me perplexed for days after the movie. Bottom line is, if you're going to watch this movie, expect to devote your whole day to it. As it gives you a headache from thinking too much while watching it, and it will keep you thinking for a while even after it ends.

Sorry my good friends...the story line is all fine and dandy....Reminds one of bits amp; pieces from movies like Matrix amp; Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless mind.

But the biggest fallacy I could see is using a totem spin to distinguish between dream and reality....A totem can hardly save one...when one gets into such multiple layers of illusion and dreams.. well..the non-stop spin/stop of a totem can also become part of the dream right? do you really think one's subconsious mind at such deepest levels.. respond to a totem spin properly? think again my friend...the games mind can play are too complex to be made a movie out of..Mr.Nolan..

i was captivated by this movie, not many movies are like this anymore and i LOVED IT! it made you thinnk. my family and i talked about the movie for days after because it stuck in our minds. id defintly see it again, even in theaters for a second timem

The premise is ingenious, and Inception is able to live off its sheer mind-bendiness for the first hour. Dom is a specialist at entering people's minds and extracting, or in this case, planting information. The dreamworld is so exciting and unpredictable, that the audience couldn't care less about the actual story line. Herersquo;s a few problems I find with this genre. Was the whole movie a dream? Or a dream about a dream? Or a parallel universe where people dream about dreaming? I was completely drawn into the initial plot and found it to be engaging. I didnrsquo;t really care about the action scenes, because I was too engrossed in trying to figure out the deeper meaning. I enjoyed the twenty-minute side shows of car crashes and gun fights but found them to be irrelevant in the bigger picture. I am guessing for some people who donrsquo;t want to use their brain, that a good old fashion explosion will suffice. I recently watched Leonardo in Shutter Island and wondered if maybe two movies from the same actor of the same genre would be too much. The only thing that Inception had over it were the action scenes. I felt like maybe it was too much of the same thing. What I did enjoy was Domrsquo;s passion to return to what was important- his children. Themes of guilt, redemption and loss played well to the audience. Really, in the big sceme of things, what really matters in life was returning to them. I know that some people were drawn to the semi-love story between Dom and Mal, as sick as their relationship appeared to be. He seemed to genuinely love her in spite of whatever wacked out stuff he may have planted in her head. The multi-layered themes appeared like a smorgasbord for the audience. What are you looking for? Itrsquo;s in there. The names assigned to each character were an interesting attempt to help the viewer navigate the maze. As I looked a little deeper, it was like peeling an onion. I am not convinced that when I reach the end that there will be anything left but an idea.

Have you ever watched a film and wondered what went through the mind of the one that turned an idea into a film? Have you ever sat in awe after watching a brilliant movie? Well in my case, the answer would be yes for both.

Though I can tell every reader what the movie is all about; that would either give you a perception on the movie without having you go see it, in turn giving you either high hopes in the movie that you may not enjoy, or really agreeing fully with what I have said; or, you may not understand the my explanation of the movie and not want to go watch it based on that. Well that is not why I am writing this review. I am simply writing this based on the fact that I was left in awe when I was done with Inception, therefore I will rather give my review and not write so much on what to expect from the movie.

I have never really bothered giving an opinion on a film, but a film such as this, deserves not only a great review, but an award for brilliancy. If you were to watch the movie, it would not be advisable to watch it with an unclear mind; neither would it be suited for an individual that is unimaginative and is merely looking for a film for entertainment or to pass time by. The film is incredibly complex, which leads me to believe, that there may be some individuals that would have to watch it more than once to fully grasp the idea and in it, the complexity itself.

As you begin to watch the film, you feel that it may be a film that you going to end up hating as you do not fully understand it at first, but as it unfolds, you begin to realize the ideology behind the creators of the film and soon find yourself engrossed, not only in the special effects but the complexity and theme of the film. It makes you think of dreams itself and how in depth the creators have gone as far as research is concerned. Many statements in the movie would leave you in wonder at the fact that it may have happened to you as an individual many a time. Though some concepts may be far fetched, the fact that the mind is something no man or machine could ever fully understand will always stand true.

And this is what the creators have fed the story on; on this very fact! For if you watch the film you soon realize that they could have stretched the movie on for as long as they wanted to, itrsquo;s only the limitations of what we ldquo;believerdquo; to be our limits, which would stop them from carrying on. Well therersquo;s that and therersquo;s the fact that no body would really want to watch a movie that went on forever. In any case, by the end of the movie, you would probably be questioning yourself as to whether your life is really real and if you really not in just a thought. While that may be going to deep in thought, itrsquo;s just something that may cross your mind.

So are you really living your life, or is all this just a dream?

Too little story, too much special effects. Typical of today's movies. Wow them with special effects and forget to add in a real plot.

Not buying into the hype.

Could have been a fantastic movie but they got so deep into special effects they couldn't see the forest for the trees. The plot is so miniscule it's unbelievable.
The end just makes room for an Inception2.

Not saying the special effects weren't good as they were. Just too much sensory overload.

And I'm a Sci-Fi type!

Let's get back to creating a story first and trying to wow the naive some other time.

Too little plot, waaaaaay to many special effects. But it does hold your attention. That's as much as I'm giving it.

Not the very beginning, but about 10 minutes or so into the movie, I didn't know what to think. I felt like a lot was left out and I was going to be pretty confused. But it picked up very fast and got to the main part making the rest of the movie pretty much perfect in my eyes. The excitement was just too intense at parts. The suspense had me at the edge of my seat at times wondering what I was going to see next. The ending was one of the best parts. Watch and you will see. The writers really had something going here. The ability to control yours and others dreams. To bring a team into someones mind and help control their dream. The ability to make a dream, within a dream. This really was written by great minds and Nolan really directed it well. The movie is just shy of 2 and a half hours, but it doesn't really seem like it, because you will enjoy this film. The cast was excellent. Leonardo DiCaprio was great. Ellen Page was also a great second. Cillian Murphy stayed more quiet, but still could act. My medal of great acting has to go to Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Never thought I would see him in such a fighting type role, but it really fit for him. Unfortunately, Tom Berenger gets the award for not acting as well. I think he is just getting too old maybe. This movie has some great action shots and the CG is pretty good too. Pure suspense from start to finish. Great film, great cast, great writing.

the story is un-describable ,, how do they come up with such things !!!! ,, all the cast gave an outstanding performance ,, we didnt see such interesting fiction missed-up stories since like .. maybe matrix ,, in general ,, a must see movie

This movie was way better than i expected it to be. I was also amazed on how easy it was to under stand the movie. Many people told me that the movie was hard to figure out, but you just have to pay attention. Great and worth seeing multiple times in theaters.

If we hadn't spent $30 for 2 tickets (Imax), would have walked out. The only reason gave it 2 stars rather than 1 is that some movie goers don't care about any plot but love special effects - which this has plenty. If you go, take ear plugs like they give out at rock concerts.

This movie was about an hour too long. Story is way too confusing. 2 hours and a half of non stop explosions and gunfire. I was bored.

There are three types of movie-watchers: passive, engaged, and intelligently engaged. Passive people will watch Die Another Day and like it just as much as the Bourne Identity. Engaged people THINK they know what theyrsquo;re talking about, and generally love movies that are edgy in plot and execution but conventional enough to understand, like Fight Club or Inception (both good movies). Intelligently engaged people will appreciate the complexity of Inception, but also recognize itrsquo;s a little sloppy, self-serious, over drawn, and empty. They recognize its audacity, but donrsquo;t pretend like it is Kubrick or Paul Thomas Anderson. Suffice it to say, most people on this wall fall into the engaged category, and try to pretend like Inception is a lsquo;masterpiecersquo; and that they know everything about movies. They donrsquo;t. Inception is clever, but it doesnrsquo;t rank anything above respectable.

Inception is easily the best movie of the year. This movie will blow you away mentally and physically. Inception contains an outstanding original story, that twists and turns throughtout the movie leaving you speachless. The Special Effects are incredible and so are the characters and plot. Inception was so entertainning and so well done, I had trouble accepting that I wasn't dreaming myself watching it! With a great cast and extremely intresting story and concept, Inception will have you begging for more when the credits roll!

this movie inspired me to write a review as sooon as i got out the theater i ame home and did this.

the movie literally had me jumping wanting to see what was gonna happen next. it was so exciting. i love ellen page and leo together.

the ending was just a stab in the heart you have to watch it !

This film written and directed by Christopher Nolan is a sci-fi masterpiece that is said to have taken him 10 years to write in the matter that he saw it was exactly the way he wanted it to be. I am so glad that he took that much time because it gave him the chance to engage the audience in a wholly original movie that never bores us for a moment.

Inception stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb who is an extractor of things that people hold sacred from their subconscious. He would get hired from corporations to extract ideas or formulas that would be beneficial to his employer and hurt the person that the idea is being extracted from. Then a wealthy business man offers him a way out of his job by ding a final job that does not include extracting an idea but to implant one into a persons subconscious as if it was their own idea.

I don't want to go into any more detail because if I do you still wouldn't understand the ending or even how it got to that point. This movie is damn near impossible to spoil because it would only want to make those interested in seeing the film even more interested in seeing the film. I enjoyed every minute of the film because it has a wonderfully written story and a strong cast of actors that slide into their roles impeccably well that it doesn't even seem like they are acting. It starts off fast paced and never slows down until the end credits roll. Even though I saw the setup for a basic chase sequence that could be filmed into any action film I was still held onto the edge of my seat because of the fact that the film allows you to care what happens to the character. The special effects are well done and if you try to bring reason to what the trailers show you, you won't be able to make sense of things until you watch this great film.

I think that this is the best film that I have seen this year and may be the best film that I have seen all year. I loved every minute of it and think that this is the summer blockbuster that people have been waiting for and I wouldn't waste an other minute without watching this film. Go and experience a mind bending sci-fi action film that is completely original and would not disappoint fans of watching films that actually make you think about while watching and definitely after the movie ends.

I am hard pressed to even describe this experience. Let's just put The Matrix and Brainstorm in a blender, add a pinch of A Beautiful Mind amp; Alice in Wonderland and just a dash of Avitar. Push the chop button, pour over some unspecial effects and served room temp with a side of popcorn.

Atilde;cent;iuml;iquest;frac12;iuml;iquest;frac12;2 hrs 28 minutes out of my life I won't get back. I went to bed hoping to dream that I was only dreaming. Where's my dradle?

This will be awesome! All this coolstuff happening around dreams - have you guys heard about remcloud.com - its a social network for dreams. they have like 1.3 million fans on facebook! just saying. maybe christopher nolan is on to something here.
