LED Dash Lights gives a new dimension in today's world
Police officers need powerful assistance by way of top quality equipment, which includes powerful vehicles, lights and guns, to excel in their jobs. New Dash Lights makes their efforts that much easier as these 3 watt Generation 3 LED modules along with optic lenses dazzle with their brilliance. This is due to the 176 lumens that radiate from each bulb. A marked feature of the new Dash Lights is the takedown light provided in the centre of the unit, which can be used to light up the interior of the car and illumine the lower areas inside powerfully.
LED or Light Emitting Diode is indispensable for emergency vehicle units as well as for homes and automobile headlights today. Police cars and emergency vehicles benefit greatly because the light emanating from these Dash Lights are more powerful and brilliant yet use far less milliamps as against full power of amps. Dash Lights are available in different colours with clear outer lenses. The difference in energy saving is that these lights last for nearly 11 years as against the earlier halogen and xenon bulbs, which lasted for about one year, from date of use.
The new Dash Lights have an additional 7th light, which is located in the centre of the unit. This has a separate switch on the side, which is used to switch on and off. It can be plugged to the lighter plug with a separate control box. This light has a flashback guard that prevents the driver from getting affected by the brilliance of the lights when they are turned on. There is a provision on the side for the flashback guard to be removed when it is being used as a takedown light. Suction cups are provided to mount the Dash Lights anywhere in the interior of the car. For instance it can be mounted inside windows with the use of the suction cup or on the ceiling so that the interior is well lit up when police need to access papers or escort criminals in their vehicles.
The Police officers are able to discharge their duties efficiently with these new Dash Lights. They feel more confident and secure with the additional powered lights helping to light up a dark interior especially at nights when they are on the chase. These lights when turned on provide effective hazard warning and maximum visibility. Dash Lights last longer because they are fitted inside the car and therefore not subjected to the outside elements.
Police cars do not use these Dash Lights unless there is an emergency. Stationery emergency vehicles flashing these Dash Lights indicate that the road is unsafe for use. Moving police cruisers will use these lights when they need to give chase and catch the perpetrator. Police officers may also use the lights to do some paperwork when sitting in their vehicles.
