Can I Use My Portable GPS with Printers to Make a Map?
Portable GPS navigation systems are terrific for getting around – but is it possible to print a paper map using the printers at your home, office or library? There is little that can beat the convenience of a portable GPS, with the on-screen availability of your destination, but sometimes you really want a hard copy of your route- and your home or office printers can be the way to take your portable GPS to the next level of usefulness.
Portable GPS systems let you plug in your current location and your chosen destination and they will show you a direct, turn-by-turn route to get to where you are going without getting lost. They are terrific for everyday traffic dilemmas, route planning, vacation travel, fishing, hunting and other recreational activities. From a start-to-finish destination, to a route with several waypoints along the way, a portable GPS is convenient and easy to use. Sometimes, though, you really want to have a hard copy map so you can share your route with someone else or simply have a more familiar way to look over the planned route and decide if it is exactly what works best for you.
