Cycling and Fat burning zone?

So I have a road bike and a HRM. I am having trouble finding how to maintain a high cadence and still be in 120-140 HR zone. Every time I pedal my HR shoots to 160+ zone and stays their until I stop pedaling. So how does one maintain 110-140 HR zone while cycling at 100 RPM cadence

You can try by first slowing down your cadence to 80, pedaling at 100 rpm can for some people drive the heart rate up by 10 or more points.
Next just slow down some, back off 2~3 mph should be all it takes.
Now on to the fat burning zone, if you are trying to loose weight don't concern your self with zones. While you will burn a higher percentage of fat in a lower zone if you go up one zone you will burn more fat, just not a higher percentage when comparing to the calories burnt.
