Lowrance LMS 337C?
Has anyone used this GPS/Sounder? How do you like it?
hi i had this very system. and it was very good. I also had the map card which showed the depth for the gulf of mexico. It was good very accurate. Warnings sounded as they should it also had the feature linked to the marine radio that then you hit the distress buton it radioed your location.
You really have to read the manual and practice with it. It does very well in desening fish below the boat as well. we checked it ans over some of the man made reefs in the gulf you could see the structures on the depth finder and see the fish in the water as they swam under the boat and were picked up by the fish finder.
As with all gos and depth finders its only as good as the user. The first coupe of times out I was initially impressed but when i went to the lowrence site and downloaded the simulator and practiced learned how to use it and wow what a difference. It was easy to program and easy to follow and very easy to program way points and good fishing spots for next time. the speedometer function was far more accurate than the boats speedo.
