which gps mount is better?
I have a Garmin streetpilot c340 and it came with a windshield mount. The GPS is old and it is big and heavy but works good, but since its big and old the windshield mount doesn't always hold it up. A lot of times when I am driving it keeps on falling off the windshield onto the floor and it is a real pain.
I went on Garmin website to look for other mounts and accessories for Garmin Streetpilot c340 and found these two mounts.
1) Garmin Dashboard Mount for StreetPilot c310, c320, c330 and c340 (010-10613-00)
2) ARKON CM012 Magellan, Nextar, HP, Navigon, Garmin, TomTom Friction Dash Mount
I went on amazon and read some reviews and still can't make up my mind. If you know anything about GPS mounts please help me out because I am so annoyed by the GPS falling off the windshield non stop,
well a trick that i and other ppl that do a bit of offroading use is to put a couple drops of super glue or other glue onto the suction cup b4 sticking it to the windshield....
** u can still remove the mount later and use a razor blade to scrape glue residue off windshield....
