Attractions in Florida
The myriad attractions in Florida, coupled with its easy going lifestyle makes a favorite destination for vacationers. Although the beaches and the keys of Florida are its chief attractions, there is no dearth of cultural sites in the state. Florida Beaches

Pensocola, known for its quiet and tranquil ambiance, is one of the most popular destinations of this region. If you love diving, then do not forget to visit Panama City, dubbed as the 'New Miami', located in this part of Florida.
However, the best known beaches of Florida are situated in the Eastern Coast of the state, particularly the Southeast. Boca Reton, the fabulous and upscale Palm beach and Fort Lauderdale are all located in this region. The socializing and nightlife opportunities of these beaches are as much of an attraction as the calm palm fringed beaches.
Florida Keys
Keys, a derivative of the word 'cayas', or small islands are also extremely popular destinations in Florida. There are over hundreds of them, although most of them are not as hospitable because of their rugged terrains and their tendency to attract hurricanes and other extreme climatic calamities. However, Key West, which is the southernmost island is extremely popular and has great beaches.
